![]() Some people may feel sad if they don’t have a huge party to celebrate their milestone birthday. Have you ever heard of Sweet 16, 21, 30, 40, 50, and 60? These are the “milestone birthdays” that are celebrated throughout our culture. When our adult birthdays aren’t as exciting as our kid birthdays, that mismatch can cause the birthday blues. When we are older, birthdays are, for some, ehhh. ![]() We get to party, go to the movies, and eat cake. So if we decide to spend our birthday alone or with a few close friends, we might feel it’s just not “good enough.” Have you ever felt like all the birthdays in movies look really good?
